I've spent nearly a decade photographing weddings, and I've learned that the best photographs rarely come from making everything perfectly photogenic.
They come from knowing when to step in, when to give you direction, and when to get out of the way.
I'll help you look incredible when it's time for portraits. I'll notice your grandmother crying during the ceremony. I'll be watching the dance floor when everyone else is watching you. And when something completely unexpected happens? I'm probably already photographing it.
Because years from now, I don't want you to remember your wedding as a series of things you had to stop and pose for.
I want you to remember the whole thing.
I'm paying attention beyond the obvious moments. The people, reactions, weird little in-between moments, and everything happening around you. Because years from now, you'll want to remember more than how the two of you looked.
Once the important photos are done, you get to go be married. I'll step back, let things unfold, and photograph the moments as they actually happen.
You don't have to know what to do in front of a camera. I'll give you direction when it matters, creating intentional portraits without making everything feel overly posed.

When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me with my amazing wife Jessica, hanging out with our dogs (Roxie and Winnie), planning our next adventure, obsessing over food and tv shows, or convincing myself that I definitely have room for another creative project. When I tell you I have a mini craft store at my house, I'm not joking.
I'm a photographer because I love making things and creating art. I love color, design, people, good food, loud music, weird little details that show off personality, and the moments that don't go according to plan.
If you want beautiful photographs without spending your entire wedding in front of my camera, we’re probably going to get along.
