Brooklyn Bridge, New York Anniversary Session - Sandra and Fernando

My sister and brother in law (Alex’s sister) were about to celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary, and decided to celebrate in New York! They also, thankfully, decided they wanted an anniversary session on the Brooklyn Bridge and flew us out to celebrate and capture the memories!! It was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken!!! We stayed off Broadway, saw Wicked AND Phantom before its closing, had AMAZING food because obviously its New York. My favorite memory, however, is this shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge. Unbeknownst to us, there was a hurricane that had hit the U.S and was moving up the coast and caught us…while on the Brooklyn Bridge. You think that would have ruined the shoot, or that Sandra and Flaco would have called it quits, but man did they embrace the rain and this led to some of the best pictures we’ve ever taken. We had to get our cameras serviced afterwards because of the strong winds and heavy downpour but it was amazing. Afterwards we waddled our way, soaked and content, to Jaques Torres chocolate factory and had freshly made cookies and hot chocolate.
