The Lodge at the Winery Elopement - Kaitlyn & Austin

his was such a fun elopement with Kaitlin and Austin. I had taken their engagement pictures a few months prior to the wedding, and it was an 80s inspired engagement shoot!, filled with denim and cheesy smiles and portraits. This was such a fun experience with a great, joyful, bubbly, affectionate couple, and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

On the day of the wedding, they chose to do a first reveal and when Austin saw Kaitlin for the first time he couldn’t stop smiling to see his future bride!! They looked perfect together! Kaitlin looked stunning in an intricate wedding dress with gorgeous detailing and a dramatic overskirt that made her dress have two looks in one!

It was a very beautiful intimate wedding, organized by the amazing Elope by JLK weddings. I’ve worked with them on many weddings and they are outstanding!!! They organized EVERYTHING! Brought the arbor, the cake (Ricks Bakery) the flowers (Samanthas Garden) and set everything up The Lodge At The Winery up for this intimate elopement leading to a very relaxed wedding day. Her father married them, which was such a sweet touch.

Now for the food!!!! You cannot go wrong with CHICKFILA for friends and family. From their delicious sandwiches down to the bottles of chickfila sauce, it was so delicious and perfect for an intimate elopement.

After they cut their cake, an enormous oatmeal cream pie, there were celebratory drinks of fireball and champagne except for Kaitlin who had the grape juice.

I’m so happy to have been a part of such a sweet wedding with two such amazing individuals. Congrats Kaitlin and Austin!!!
